Knoxville photographer Wade Payne shows off his portrait of National Basketball Association legend Earl Lloyd on Monday at his West Knox County studio. Payne's photograph was chosen for permanent display at the National Basketball Hall of Fame, the Smithsonian Institute, Library of Congress, Civil Rights Museum and the NCAA Headquarters in Kansas. Lloyd, a resident of Fairfield Glade, was the first African-American to play in the NBA.
